The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) exists to lead improvements in the safety and quality of health care so all Australians receive better care, everywhere<\/strong>. As a trusted national steward of quality improvement, we drive the delivery of excellent health care throughout the patient journey, collaborating with key partners across the health system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grounded in evidence and powered by the patient voice, we champion high-quality, equitable, sustainable, person-centered care<\/strong>, with a strong emphasis on leadership by Aboriginal and Torres\u202fStrait\u202fIslander peoples and communities to support culturally safe care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next five years will bring rapid change across workforce dynamics, models of care, patient and carer needs, technology shifts, community trust, and socio-economic and environmental impacts on health. Conjoint Professor Anne Duggan, CEO of the Commission<\/strong>, noted that this Strategic Plan comes at a pivotal time \u201cA timely recalibration of the Commission\u2019s priorities within the rapidly evolving healthcare environment.\u201d Our refreshed brand, launched alongside the plan, underscores our continued commitment: \u201cWhile our look may be new, our purpose remains \u2014 to lead improvements in the safety and quality of health care so all Australians receive better care, everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
