    This dynamic panel tackled one of healthcare\u2019s most pressing tensions: how do we move forward in a system full of limitations, forms, and workforce strain \u2014 while still delivering excellent care?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here were the key themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • The risk of doing nothing<\/strong>: We often talk about system risk \u2014 but rarely about the risk of staying still. Change is itself a necessary safeguard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Form fatigue is real<\/strong>: Overwhelming administrative burden is preventing staff from doing the work that matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Underutilised staff = lost staff<\/strong>: Some organisations see up to 70% of rostered staff not receiving contracted hours. This disconnection is driving attrition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Reframe procurement<\/strong>: Don\u2019t start with \u201cwhat do we want the system to do?\u201d Start with \u201cwhat outcome do we want to achieve?\u201d Then work with vendors to build for that.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Empower autonomy<\/strong>: Digital health solutions only succeed when staff are trained, empowered, and resourced to use them well \u2014 not just when they\u2019re implemented.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Put people at the centre<\/strong>: Every system and process must prioritise people \u2014 both staff and patients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cEverything we do must keep our people at the heart. And we must ask: what happens if we don\u2019t?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
