The dashboard draws daily data feeds to provide leaders, staff and governance committees with near real-time visibility of incident trends in one central location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, incident insights were limited to static reports and specialist users. The new dashboard created a shared, accessible view of safety data that feels familiar and relevant through cohealth branding and ownership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By embedding incident analytics into everyday governance and operational practice, the initiative has strengthened transparency, engagement and data-driven decision-making. The dashboard is now a core organisational tool supporting learning, improvement and proactive risk management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-challenge\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incident reporting data in RiskMan was historically accessed through manual Excel reports prepared by the Quality team. Access limitations meant only managers with system permissions or specialist support could view trends, restricting organisational learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This created delays, duplicated reporting effort and limited transparency. Leaders and committees relied on static snapshots rather than timely insights, reducing the ability to identify emerging risks or prioritise improvement actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">cohealth needed a scalable way to democratise access to incident data, reduce manual reporting workload and promote shared accountability for safety trends. The challenge was to create an accessible, trusted and adaptable reporting tool that could evolve with organisational needs while integrating reliably with RiskMan data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-approach\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Approach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Quality team partnered with Data &amp; Analytics specialists and RLDatix to design and implement a cohealth-owned Power BI dashboard linked directly to RiskMan data. Stakeholder consultation across programs and governance groups identified priority reporting needs and usage contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iterative development ensured the dashboard aligned with how incident data was used operationally and in governance reporting. Daily automated refresh enabled near real-time visibility, while SharePoint hosting provided organisation-wide access. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Collaboration across Quality, Data &amp; Analytics and RLDatix teams enabled secure data integration and user-friendly design. Ongoing feedback informed enhancements, and a planned refresh is underway to expand functionality and insight based on organisational learning from Version 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-achievements-outcomes\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Achievements \/ Outcomes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dashboard has transformed how incident data is used across cohealth. Leaders and governance committees now directly access program-specific trends, enabling proactive monitoring and targeted improvement actions. Requests for manual Excel reports have reduced significantly, freeing Quality team capacity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incident analytics are now embedded in governance discussions and operational planning, strengthening shared accountability for safety. The dashboard has become a core organisational tool, shaping how staff interact with and learn from RiskMan data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organisation-wide access via SharePoint has improved transparency and engagement, while daily refresh supports timely insights.
