Research shows that nearly\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nejm.org\/doi\/full\/10.1056\/NEJMsa2206117\">one in four hospitalized patients<\/a>\u00a0will experience a harm event, 25% of which are preventable. Exacerbating this is the growing workforce shortage, with a projected shortfall of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bhw.hrsa.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/bureau-health-workforce\/data-research\/nursing-projections-factsheet.pdf\">307,010 registered nurses by 2027<\/a>\u00a0and up to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aamc.org\/news\/us-physician-shortage-growing\">139,000 physicians<\/a>\u00a0by 2033.<br><br>As Leapfrog\u2019s first partner with an advanced technology platform focused on patient safety, RLD brings deep expertise to the shared goal of making healthcare safer, more transparent and more responsive to the needs of patients and providers alike.
