A total of seven winning and seven \u2018highly commended\u2019 awards were given to both UK hospital trusts and healthcare providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2019 winners are:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Making your organisation a great place to work<\/strong><br><strong>Winner: Sheffield Children\u2019s NHS Foundation Trust<\/strong><br>The hospital implemented Allocate software on its neuroscience specialist ward to accurately record and display sta\ufb03ng data, which ensured the ward received the additional sta\ufb00 and support it needed to make it a great place to work.<br>Highly Commended: Virgin Care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impacting clinical and performance targets<\/strong><br><strong>Winner: The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust<\/strong><br>The Trust rolled out Allocate SafeCare, to ensure that the right sta\ufb00 are in the right place at the right time, and ultimately enhance patient care.<br>Highly Commended: Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Working inclusively across boundaries<\/strong><br><strong>Winner: South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw ICS eRostering Group<\/strong><br>By taking a robust and transparent approach to sharing KPI data and best practice, a regional e-rostering group successfully identi\ufb01ed areas where they could increase e\ufb03ciency, implement shared standards and develop a region-wide sustainable workforce.<br>Highly Commended: East Su\ufb00olk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operational Roster Excellence<\/strong><br><strong>Winner: London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust<\/strong><br>The Trust recognised that a lack of adequate training meant sta\ufb00 were not recognising the full bene\ufb01ts of the HealthRoster software. After improving their processes, the trust has now trained 300 nurses, improved sta\ufb00\u2019s work-life balance and seen a reduction in agency costs.<br>Highly Commended: Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Innovative Workforce models for better patient care<\/strong><br><strong>Winner: East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust<\/strong><br>The Trust\u2019s safer sta\ufb03ng team set up the rapid response initiative, a central sta\ufb03ng hub with oversight of the whole trust\u2019s sta\ufb03ng position, using SafeCare.<br>Highly Commended: Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Board Assurance<\/strong><br><strong>Winner: HCA Healthcare UK<\/strong><br>HCA Healthcare UK can assess real-time performance against the CQC\u2019s \ufb01ve key lines of enquiry following the implementation of Allocate\u2019s software. Sta\ufb00 are empowered and see themselves as stakeholders who are embedding and implementing change.<br>Highly Commended: West London NHS Trust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Achieving Cultural Excellence<\/strong><br><strong>Winner: West London NHS Trust<\/strong><br>The Trust has increased the happiness of its sta\ufb00 and created a better culture across the trust through improvements to shift allocation management.<br>Highly Commended: Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Commenting on this year\u2019s winners Nick Wilson, CEO, Allocate Software said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cA huge congratulations to all the winners, the highly commended and those shortlisted, and a very big thank you to all our customers.
