Their homes cover a wide range of care, ranging from residential care where clients need support to continue independently with their lives, to nursing homes and dementia care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SpringCare and RLDatix began working together in 2022 to support SpringCare\u2019s plan to support their workforce with a better work-life balance and to help ensure they have the right people, in the right place, at the right time, delivering the right care and experience to their patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, they have rolled out, RLDatix\u2019s core rostering system to 10 of their care homes, with another six currently being implemented. By September 2024, they want to have Allocate Optima in all 27 of their care homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, SpringCare have found their staff have already benefited from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>More time, less paperwork<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 staff have more control of their annual leave since using Optima. This, combined with equests and approvals easy, eliminating paperwork and saving time. This then leads to&nbsp;<strong>better organisation<\/strong>, as any approved holidays will be added onto the rota automatically, making future rota planning for managers easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As they implement Allocate Optima across all their care homes, SpringCare is anticipating more long-term benefits, such as making sure no care homes are over or understaffed, quicker rostering for managers and more control over shifts for every staff member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe advantage of the Loop is that our staff can amend their holidays directly on the app, instead of filling out paper forms, meaning less paperwork both for them and their managers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once holidays have been approved or declined on the system, they feed directly through to the rota.
