{"id":8757,"date":"2020-09-22T11:59:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-22T10:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rldatix.com\/en-uki\/?post_type=news&#038;p=8757"},"modified":"2025-08-13T12:00:47","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T11:00:47","slug":"allocates-complimentary-agency-assessments-helping-trusts-to-save-130-million-in-agency-staffing-costs","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.rldatix.com\/en-uki\/company\/news\/allocates-complimentary-agency-assessments-helping-trusts-to-save-130-million-in-agency-staffing-costs\/","title":{"rendered":"Allocate\u2019s complimentary agency assessments \u2013 helping trusts to save \u00a3130 million in agency staffing costs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Following the recent release of our agency insights and our early September webinar, where we explored agency behaviours and how to deliver better outcomes, we decided to talk to&nbsp;<em>Hannah Brookes,<\/em>&nbsp;247 Time Customer Representative, to find out exactly what an Allocate Agency Assessment entails and what benefits it generates for healthcare organisations using agency workers.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>What\u2019s required for an agency assessment?<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For any trust using regular agency staff, our complimentary Agency Assessment is a quick way to identify inefficiencies in the current outsourcing processes and provides an projected value of temporary staffing savings, by simply reviewing a handful of data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The assessment starts by collating the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The staffing groups in which agency workers are used \u2013 this is medics, allied health professionals (AHPs) or nursing staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total annual spend for each agency staffing group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total annual agency hours for each staffing group<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s also some supplementary information, such as current direct engagement provider and charge rate, but this is not mandatory and will not affect the delivery of the analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>How is the information presented?<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the minimal data required, we\u2019ve been able to complete such assessments in as little as 24 hours!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ll schedule a quick conversation with the organisation and one of our Allocate account managers, simply to relay the information back and ensure that all information provided is correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, we have completed over 25 assessments for NHS trusts, and from my personal experience, we\u2019ve always noted how pleasantly surprised the recipient has been.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>What results can organisations expect?<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019ve been fantastic in comparison to their current direct engagement or agency provision.
