This month, I\u2019d like to point you in the direction of a forthcoming podcast episode of \u201cThe Connection\u201d in which we talk to a senior clinician and Chief Clinical Information Officer at Manchester Foundation Trust, Dr Henry Morriss. Henry is an emergency clinician and intensivist by clinical background. His interests lie predominantly in the interoperability of clinical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We face a very different clinical workforce future, with progressive and very welcome amalgamations of traditional professional groups away from stand-alone workforce distinctions such as \u2018medics\u2019 and \u2018allied\u2019 and \u2018nurses\u2019 into something more sophisticated and modern in the workplace. With that in mind, and thinking too about the role of AI in practice, this episode of the podcast focuses on how we make best use of our software in that changing operational environment.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ways in which we think about planning and deployment of clinical staff to serve the needs of pathways of care are fundamental to ensuring customers can meet their operational, financial and wellbeing commitments to their workforce. Henry discusses this in the podcast, a<\/em>nd our conversation widens to other aspects of the near future in workforce and safety technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
