From the&nbsp;<strong>new roster views we\u2019re bringing to Activity Manager, closer integrations between Jobplan and Optima<\/strong>&nbsp;or the wealth of&nbsp;<strong>great improvements coming to Loop<\/strong>, there was a lot for customers to sink their teeth into.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For me personally it is always most rewarding to listen and learn from organisations on how they\u2019re using our products \u2013 especially in the medics domain. This year we had more sessions on medics than ever before and all of those sessions were packed.&nbsp;<strong>It was clear to me that organisations really want to lean into medics to ensure that their Resident Doctors and Consultants are planned and rostered as effectively as possible while also thinking carefully about their wellbeing.<\/strong>&nbsp;Self-rostering is an important piece of that puzzle and it\u2019s great to see so many organisations using Optima and Loop to enable that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were so many standout sessions this year, but if I had to pick one in particular it would be the session delivered by&nbsp;<strong>Dr Jonathan Fenwick on crafting effective and balanced doctor schedules<\/strong>. And to make the technology do what it is designed to do \u2013 deliver safer health and care. Themes covered in the workshops included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Best practice in medical rostering for safe and efficient care<br>\u2705 Making best use of incident reporting<br>\u2705 Job planning for safety, productivity and wellbeing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to find out more about what we spoke about during the workshops,&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:medics@rldatix.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">get in touch with the team<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the key learnings the team took from the event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr Darren Kilroy \u2013 Medical Director:<\/strong><em>&nbsp;\u201cWhat resonated with me was the ongoing variability in how available functionality is enacted from user to user and Trust to Trust and the potential we still need to realise there.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tom Bird \u2013 Customer Success Medics Team Lead:<\/strong><em>&nbsp;\u201cMy main learning was how closely linked job planning is to a good culture. At organisations where staff feel heard, job planning is more successful.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chris Bond \u2013 Medical Rostering Specialist:<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201c<em>The need for doctors to work across different rosters is crucial. This highlighted the importance of being able to assign rosters according to a doctors skills and confirming my theory that the pathways across which doctors (and their rosters) are shared is growing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Olga Chalupczak \u2013 Product Manager:<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201c<em>My key learning is the critical role feedback plays in fostering a positive reporting culture.
