Benson Radiology Goes Live with RLDatix Optima
Adelaide, Australia – RLDatix is pleased to announce that Benson Radiology has successfully gone live with Optima, following a comprehensive workforce management optimisation programme designed to better support the organisation’s operational and workforce requirements.
A leading provider of diagnostic and interventional radiology services across South Australia, Benson Radiology operates more than 30 clinics and delivers a broad range of imaging services, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and X-ray services. As a growing and innovative healthcare organisation, Benson Radiology sought to strengthen its workforce management capabilities through a platform that could better support rostering, workforce visibility, reporting and operational efficiency.
The Optima go-live marks an important milestone in Benson Radiology’s workforce transformation journey. Working in close partnership, Benson Radiology and RLDatix undertook a detailed programme of system optimisation, testing and preparation to ensure the platform was fully aligned with the organisation’s workforce requirements. Extensive validation activities, including reverse parallel payroll testing, provided confidence in the solution and supported a smooth transition to the new environment.
The organisation successfully completed its first pay run following go-live and has already begun realising significant benefits across the business. Rostering processes are faster and more efficient, reporting capabilities have been enhanced, and teams now have access to functionality that was previously unavailable. Improved visibility of staff skills and work locations is helping managers make more informed workforce decisions, while users have responded positively to the platform’s modern interface and functionality.
Building on this success, Benson Radiology has already commenced the rollout of additional capabilities, including team rosters, with shift swap functionality currently being configured and tested as part of its ongoing workforce optimisation roadmap.
" The implementation of Optima has been a significant milestone for the business, and I’m incredibly proud of what has been achieved. The go-live transition was well planned and executed, with our first pay run completed successfully and smoothly. This was made possible through the collaborative approach taken throughout the project, particularly the extensive testing, preparation and reverse parallel pay run undertaken alongside the RLDatix team, which gave us confidence that we were ready for go-live. We’ve already seen immediate improvements across the business, including more efficient rostering, enhanced reporting capabilities and better workforce visibility. This has been a true team achievement, and we’re excited to continue building on this foundation as we introduce additional functionality and further optimise our workforce operations.”
Tamara Gabell, Head of Rostering Operations, Benson Radiology
The successful go-live reflects the strong partnership between Benson Radiology and RLDatix throughout the project. Working together, both teams focused on delivering a seamless implementation experience while ensuring users were well prepared for adoption of the new platform.
