RLDatix Leads Sessions on Health Equity at ACHE 2024 Congress

RLDatix is leading two sessions at the ACHE 2024 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, taking place in Chicago from March 25-28. Both sessions, co-led by RLDatix Chief Patient Safety and Risk Officer, Dr. Tim McDonald, will center around health equity advancement through connected healthcare operations.  

On Tuesday, March 26, Dr. McDonald and Jared Capouya, Chief Quality and Patient Safety Officer at Nemours Children’s Health will lead a session titled, “Breaking Bias: Advancing Health Equity Through Connected Data.” The presentation will showcase how RLDatix and Nemours Children’s Health partnered to collect patient safety data and analyze harm events based on sociodemographic factors to identify, address and prevent disparities.  

On Wednesday, March 27, Dr. McDonald and Marty Hatlie, President & CEO for Project Patient Care and Co-Director of the MedStar Institute for Quality & Safety, will host a lunch session titled, “The Intersection of Safety & Equity | Advancing Outcomes with Connected Healthcare Operations.” The presentation will focus on how healthcare leaders can address the system inequities that pervade the current healthcare environment and provide safer care for all by advancing and harmonizing critical functions such as staffing and scheduling, data management and peer support. 

More than 5,000 C-suite executives, clinical leaders, senior leaders and ACHE fellows are expected to attend this year's event.
