CHEC selects RLDatix to strengthen safety, governance and insight

CHEC is a leading independent healthcare provider specialising in ophthalmology, gastroenterology, ENT and dermatology. For more than a decade, the organisation has worked closely with the NHS to reduce waiting times and deliver specialist services in local communities across the UK.

CHEC operates a growing network of 35+ community hospitals and 90+ community clinics, delivering NHS-commissioned care to communities across the region.

As CHEC expanded, maintaining clear oversight of incidents, risk and policies across multiple sites became more complex. Homegrown systems that had supported earlier development were becoming less suited to the scale of operations, prompting a strengthened approach to organisational learning and preparation for regulatory inspection.

Following a review process, CHEC selected DatixCloudIQ (DCIQ) to support safety and risk insight, Policy Management (PolicyStat) to strengthen policy governance, and RLDatix Audits & Standards to support regulatory compliance and inspection readiness, including CQC and wider industry frameworks such as ISO.
