Automating Agency Rostering: Vacancy Management API Now Live for Connected Vendor Agencies

We’re excited to announce that the Vacancy Management API is now generally available for Connected Vendor Agencies. 

This API has been designed to simplify the process of onboarding and assigning temporary workers to open shifts in Optima, removing the admin, emails, and errors from agency shift fulfilment. Instead of chasing manual updates or waiting for shift lists to be emailed, connected vendors can now receive real-time vacancy data directly from Optima, and return filled bookings just as seamlessly.

Unlike robotic process automation (RPA) or screen scraping, the Vacancy API ensures secure, robust data transfer therefore minimising risk and improving reliability. 

How to get started 

To activate the Vacancy Management API, you’ll need: 

• Cloud-hosted integration 

• Optima version 11.4.4MR3 or higher 

• Consent from participating provider organisations 

Which agency vendors use the API? 

Agencies that are confirmed as connected vendors, with access to the Vacancy Management API, are listed on the RLDatix Partners website.
